One of my primary responsibilities as the Advertising Design Manager was putting together Mustang Media Group’s annual Media Kits for the 2022–2023 and 2023–2024 academic years. The Media Kit is heavily referenced throughout the year and serves as an introduction to the organization.
With the looming threat of a recession and a world still adjusting to normalcy after the pandemic, it was important to emphasize the value and effectiveness of Mustang Media Group’s products and services in light of this continued uncertainty.

I made it a primary focus to highlight our bundle deals and rates in a clean and concise manner. I also wanted to maintain clarity and legibility within the media kit while still conveying a personable and professional identity as a student-run organization, especially as something that our advertising executives would be presenting to both prospective and returning clients.

Overall goals for the new media kit remained relatively the same. However, I decided to use a more bright, graphic approach for this edition’s design to highlight the youthful, student-run aspect of the organization. This approach also reflects a growing emphasis on our digital products as MMG and the world continues to be further integrated in the digital sphere.
